Monster's Dream is a multi-layered, dark story that presents the protagonist with many choices. The player decides which side of the conflict to choose and what role to play. The journey into the self, where demons and numerous creatures lurk, is crucial. Memory Eaters can enter it and fight nightmares. Their presence within a person's mind can influence their decisions. This has sometimes tipped the scales of victory in their favor or broken alliances.
What distinguishes Monster’s Dream?
The motivations of the characters are crucial; they fight not to survive another day, but to grow stronger, conquer, become richer, and expand their domain – to change the political order in countries, to influence the course of battles.
Lords
They are extremely important figures in the game, significantly enhancing the combat capabilities of their armies. Losing a Lord can be devastating for you.
Memory Eaters
They can enter the self and perform extraordinary feats there. After overcoming the nightmares lurking there, the host of the self becomes temporarily subservient to the Eater.
Military commanders
They will lead your troops into battle. Commanders are invaluable when it comes to fighting battles or sieges.
Fight, conquer, and listen to the whispers of darkness.
Lead your army to victory. But beware—something unsettling may happen in any of your villages or castles. When night falls, powerful magic and ancient beliefs come to the fore.
